August 2006

Today is moving day. The box packers were here the last two days and today the movers are here getting all the boxes and furniture. I couldn’t imagine that we had so much stuff in the house (236 boxes!) but actually the packer thought that for living here for 7 years we did not have that much! Tomorrow we’ll be in Charlotte in our temporary apartment and then in a couple weeks into the new house.

Both babies I am happy to report are doing great. They measured perfect for their gestational age and both weighed in at 3lbs 14 ounces. Not sure what the margin of error is for these measurements but the doctor seemed happy with their growth. I managed to get great pictures of both my darlings but will have to wait until after the move to scan them.

As for the move….well we are progressing. The movers were packing the entire day and might need at least another day or two. Jeff and I have had to pack what we will need during our two week stay in temporary housing …….I AM CRAZY TIRED from this and poor Jeff must be even more so since he is doing the bulk of the work. And over and above that we have to closely supervise the packers to make sure that everything goes as plan.

Till later.

Hi friends and family

I have posted a few pictures of my moms last weekend with us as well as updated pictures of our new home being built in North Carolina. This last weekend has been rather hectic. Jeff has been sick for the last 2 weeks and with me hardly able to do much our list of tasks are progressing very slowly. Jeff is doing much better (thank goodness). I was worried about my other baby for awhile :)

I have my next twin measurement ultrasound this Monday. I can’t wait to see the babies and hopefully get some nice pictuures to post. The last time both babies were not cooperating. As for the pregnancy ….all seems well. No gestational diabetes (yeah), both babies are positioned head down and I have finally packed up the baby doppler and am sending it back this weekend :)
