This weekend Jeff and I went to Charlotte to check on the new house. Since my mom was visting we decided to drive up. The house is moving along as we expected and Charlottte just seems better and better the more time we spent there…BUT……the drive was REALLY long. I was already there as I had to fly down during the week for work….thank goodness….because I don’t think I would have survived two 7 hour trips in one weekend. My poor mother looked really worn out.
Otherwise it was a really nice weekend. Really good friends of ours were in Charlotte for the weekend as well. They are also relocating to Charlotte.
As for our darling babies they seem to be coming along just fine ….or at least they appear to be. I seem to be getting bigger by the day. I will have Jeff take pictures next week and I havve no doubt that you all will be shocked at how big I have grown.
Till later.

Hi All,
Well I am happy to say that all is well with me, Jeff and the babies. I had what I thought was spotting on Friday and needless to say I totally freaked. It turned out to be nothing thank goodness. Both babies are moving around like crazy and the boy is showing signs of a future soccer player
My mom and nephew arrived for a visit last week. My mom will stay for 6 weeks and nephew for 4 weeks. I am so happy to have both with me.
Our move to Charlotte is speeding along. We will be moving as soon as my mother leaves (Sept 2nd). I am really excited but kinda scared at the same time. We are all visiting Charlotte next weekend to check out the new house. I can’t wait to see how things are coming along.
Our house is currently on the market…..I hope it sells and sells soon. Wish us luck friends.
Until next time……..

We’re moving to Charlotte soon and luckily we found a house that was almost done and 99% what we wanted! Here’s a photo of our new home. I can’t wait to move in. The house in in a golf course community (we’re on the 15th green). I don’t play golf but might take it up some day. The main thing I like about being on the green is that there’s no neighbors behind our house for hundreds of feet. Just nice grass and trees. Traffic is much less in Charlotte than it is in northern Virginia. That’s great because while I will be working from home (my office is right there in the middle dormer) Genelle will be driving to work (for the first time in 3 years!!!). We timed it last time were were there though and it was only like 15-20 minutes. Her job is the same distance away now but its takes 30-45 minutes because of traffic.

Having two babies means we’re going to have to buy everything TWICE! We started buying stuff a while back so we could make sure that we have everything when the twins arrive. One way we keep track o fthe things we need is using a baby registry. That way we can add things and take them off when we get them and its all online. As an added bonus friends and family that want to buy the babies something can find out what we need and want and don’t have to worry about buying something that we don’t neeed. Check out Genelle & Jeff’s Baby Registry.

Well friends I am happy to report that the twins are doing great. My 23 week ultrasound went very well. Both twins are measuring perfectly for their gestational age and measured in at a healthy 1 pound 6 ounces !
Baby A (the boy) had an additional test done ( a cardio echo). I was really scared that they would find something wrong …..but yeah….his heart looked perfect. As usual he was boucing all over the place and gave the nurse and doctor a really hard time making the test take twice as long
